The world's longest fence is in Australia. Spanning a distance longer than the Great Wall of China, the Dingo Proof Fence excludes Australia's largest terrestrial predator (the Dingo) from 1/3 of the country.

'Inside' the fence, Dingoes are shot, poisoned, trapped and controlled, legally. In 2024, many parts of the country want the animal to be locally extinct. In a country with some of the world extinctions in the world this aim feels even more grievous.

Ten Eighty is an exploration of the practice of exclusion, the animals targeted and the costs of robbing the ecosystem of predators.
