Corner Country is an exploration of Australia's arid belt along the Dingo Proof Fence. This is the world's longest fence (over 5500km!) and is cobbled together from a range of local and state projects to keep dingoes away from sheep. Up to one-third of Australia is 'protected' from the native predator, and Dingoes are legally hunted, poisoned and trapped throughout the country.

But, in the arid areas just next to the fence, fewer and fewer sheep are farmed, leaving huge areas where invasive species thrive. The hubris of colonisation, where arid areas were seen as ripe for transformation, has fallen down. With huge potential for regeneration and rewilding, these places are not land to be exploited but a place we could better manage, perhaps better rewild (if possible), especially if we stop killing Dingoes.
